About the position

The Service Technician & Erector - Crane position at ALL Crane Rental of Tennessee involves hands-on experience with the repair, assembly, and disassembly of mobile and crawler cranes. The role requires troubleshooting and maintenance of various crane models, ensuring safety compliance, and effective communication with team members and customers. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with occasional overnight travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, assemble, and disassemble mobile and crawler cranes.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
• Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Interface positively with service writers, supervisors, parts department, and customers.
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
• Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A or Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical background required.
• Possess more than just a basic set of tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in conditions with marked changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
