About the position

The Service Technician & Erector - Crane position at ALL Crane Rental of Tennessee involves hands-on repair, assembly, and disassembly of mobile and crawler cranes. The role requires a strong background in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, along with the ability to work safely around heavy machinery. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and may require occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, assemble, and disassemble mobile and crawler cranes.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
• Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Interface positively with service writers, supervisors, parts department, and customers.
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
• Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A or Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical background required.
• Possess more than just a basic set of tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in conditions with marked changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• High School diploma or better preferred.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Class B CDL preferred.
• Strong initiative required.
