About the position

The Service Technician I position at Westminster Management is focused on providing maintenance and repair services within residential properties. The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and a proactive approach to property management. Technicians will be responsible for a variety of tasks including electrical and plumbing maintenance, painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work, ensuring that all service requests are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance including repairs and replacements of fixtures, outlets, and appliances.
• Conduct painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work to maintain and improve property conditions.
• Complete all maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
• Process make-ready tasks for vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents.
• Maintain grounds and ensure the property is clean and well-kept.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Proficiency in the use of general maintenance equipment including hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to walk up to 3 flights of stairs multiple times a day and complete 5,000 steps daily.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Windows based PCs and experience with Apple iOS devices.

Nice-to-haves

• HVAC experience preferred.
