In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks that are essential to the upkeep of our properties. This includes performing electrical and plumbing maintenance, such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. You will also engage in painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work, ensuring that all maintenance service requests are completed efficiently. Your keen eye for detail and passion for property management will help you anticipate the needs of our residents and provide them with outstanding service. Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance including repairs and replacements of fixtures, unclogging drains, and minor appliance repairs.
  • Conduct painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work to maintain and improve property conditions.
  • Complete all maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
  • Process make-ready tasks for vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents.
  • Maintain the grounds and ensure the property is clean and well-kept.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in property maintenance or related trade.
  • Proficiency in the use of general maintenance equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • Ability to walk up 3 flights of stairs multiple times a day and complete 5,000 steps/day.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based PCs and experience with Apple iOS devices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with landscaping equipment and pool chemicals.
  • Knowledge of safety equipment and practices in maintenance work.
