About the position

The Service Technician at The Quad Apartments is responsible for performing essential maintenance functions to uphold and enhance the value of the residential community. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, while also ensuring safety and compliance within the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance functions necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
• Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, and snow removal.
• Accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including pest control and property inspections.
• Assist office staff with the delivery of resident notices.
• Be available for after-hours emergency situations and night/weekend call duty.
• Work during inclement weather as needed.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management.
• Ability to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge and ability to perform plumbing repairs, appliance repairs, electrical repairs, and HVAC repairs.
• Experience with roofing inspection and minor roof repairs.
