About the position

Join our well-established dealership as a Service Technician, where you will utilize your skills to perform diagnoses and repairs on a variety of vehicles. This role focuses on specialized areas of repair, including brakes, tires, electrical systems, and more, while ensuring high standards of service quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards for all makes and models.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Complete 360 inspections.
• Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicate with service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
• Prior service experience preferred; pay rate based on experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills expected.
