About the position

Hightower Industries is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their new commercial service and maintenance division. This full-time position involves performing repairs and maintenance on various commercial roofing systems, with opportunities for advancement into a supervisory role within a few months.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance across diverse commercial roofing systems.
• Estimate materials, time, and costs for roofing projects.
• Fabricate and install various components and structures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Restore and repair damaged structures or surfaces.
• Lead and manage teams on site, upholding safety standards and company protocol.
• Install and repair roofs.
• Perform heavy lifting as required.
• Uphold safety standards and company protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in reading and writing; bilingual highly favorable.
• Strong knowledge of roofing techniques and materials: TPO, Single Ply, BUR, Tile, Metal.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed.
• Proficient with using CRM software and comfortable with job documentation using an iPad.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
• Problem-solving and leadership skills.
