About the position

The Service Technician at Frazer, LTD is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of emergency medical vehicles. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. The technician will work collaboratively with various departments to meet service goals and enhance operational efficiency, while also providing high-quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 12 volt and 120 volt electrical systems and their components.
• Read prints, sketches, or plans for information regarding materials and dimensions.
• Assemble and fit components together using various tools and fastening techniques.
• Install insulation, flooring, trim pieces, and other miscellaneous items in vehicles.
• Clean and detail finished areas to meet quality standards.
• Use solvents, cleaners, and adhesives safely and effectively.
• Perform small engine troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year prior automotive experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Must pass a post-offer drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google G-Suite (Gmail, Documents, Drive, Spreadsheets, etc.).
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
