About the position

The Service Technician role at Westminster Management involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of properties and to enhance the living experience for residents. The technician will be responsible for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance work, contributing to the upkeep of the community and addressing service requests efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance including repairs and replacements of fixtures, unclogging drains, and minor appliance repairs.
• Conduct painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work to maintain and improve property fixtures.
• Complete all maintenance service requests and make-ready processing of vacant apartments.
• Perform grounds work and ensure the overall upkeep of the property.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Proficiency in the use of general maintenance equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• HVAC Certification is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to work on-call as needed.
