About the position

As a Service Technician at Suburban Propane, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining fuel systems and appliances. This role involves hands-on work, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fuel systems, while ensuring safety and reliability in service delivery. You will also be responsible for vehicle maintenance and customer billing, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the service team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair fuel systems and appliances.
• Maintain the service vehicle, including reviewing maintenance records and performing inspections.
• Provide superior customer service to clients.
• Bill customers for services rendered and manage funds and inventory using a tablet.
• Deliver fuel safely and efficiently as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
• Ability to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 lbs.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
