About the position

The Service Technician role at HelpLink involves providing personal emergency assistance by delivering, setting up, and testing medical alarm units. This position is on a PRN (as needed) basis, allowing for flexible scheduling around the technician's availability within their service area. Training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary, making it accessible for individuals looking to enter the field.

Responsibilities

• Contacting clients to set appointments
• Explaining to clients how the equipment works and testing the unit with them
• Delivering and setting up medical alarm units

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a vehicle and provide a valid driver's license, registration, and insurance information
• No experience required, but experience in cable or alarm installation or as a field service technician is preferred
• Ability to accurately map to destination
• Must be able to bend, squat, and/or lift up to 50lbs
