About the position
Seneca Companies is currently seeking service technicians to work out of Oklahoma City. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing area within our family owned and operated business directly supporting the organizations where you may purchase your fuel. The position involves traveling from site to site repairing equipment, and offers a dynamic work environment where every day is different.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots, performs repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
- Monitors and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory on service van including, but not limited to, transfers of parts to appropriate jobs and other service techs as applicable as well as returns to warehouse facilities.
- Analyzes electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
- Installs, programs and tests new equipment.
- Communicate with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
- Present yourself professionally as a representative of Seneca Companies and be prompt when making service calls.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience working in service station or fueling equipment repair or similar field.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel with occasional overnights.
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment and machines as described.
- Electrical Knowledge and excellent mechanical abilities.
Nice-to-haves
- Certifications in Gilbarco, Wayne, or Gasboy or Bennett dispensers.
- Additional certifications in Veeder-Root, EVO, Gasboy or Fuelmaster.
- State Licensed petroleum installer license.
