About the position

The Automotive Service Videographer at Tim Dahle Import Inc. is responsible for creating engaging and informative video content that enhances customer understanding of automotive service procedures. This role involves collaborating with service technicians to capture and edit high-quality videos that explain vehicle maintenance and repair processes, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and supporting sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage of automotive service procedures, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.
• Edit and produce professional-looking videos that are visually appealing and informative.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and voiceovers to enhance the clarity and engagement of the videos.
• Create video content that explains common automotive issues, preventative maintenance tips, and the benefits of specific services.
• Develop video tutorials that guide customers through basic maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with service advisors to identify topics that would be beneficial for customers to understand.
• Create videos that highlight the dealership's expertise and the quality of its services.
• Support sales efforts by providing engaging video content for use on the dealership's website, social media, and in-store displays.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and trends.
• Develop a strong understanding of common automotive repairs and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video production, including video editing and post-production techniques.
• Strong understanding of automotive mechanics and terminology.
