About the position
As a Service Virtualization and API Test Automation Lead, you will serve as a validation and quality assurance expert, focusing on reviewing the functionality of existing systems. Your role will involve conducting requirement analysis, defining test strategies, designing tests, and leading execution to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will also design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios, collaborating with top industry talent to deliver innovative, defect-free solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities
- Act as a validation and quality assurance expert to review existing systems' functionality.
- Conduct requirement analysis and define test strategy and design.
- Lead execution of tests to guarantee superior outcomes.
- Design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios.
- Collaborate with industry talent to create innovative, high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- 10 years of Information Technology experience.
- 4 years of experience in Service Virtualization using Parasoft.
- Skills in creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios, and Test cases with hands-on technical knowledge.
- Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in understanding the product and analyzing user stories.
- Perform design analysis and develop Virtual Services and API Test scenarios for validation.
- 5+ years of experience in Service Virtualization (DevTest, Parasoft SV tool).
- 8+ years of experience in Java, Javascript, RestAssured, API Automation.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodology.
- Very good understanding of the Software Test life cycle activities through practice in multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
