Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction, repair, and maintenance of City water and wastewater facilities.
• Collaborate with Utility Billing, City departments, and the general public on utility-related projects and issues.
• Respond to emergency calls related to the Public Utilities Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduation or GED.
• Five years' experience in the maintenance and repair of water and wastewater systems.
• Valid Class 'B' Florida Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum Class 'C' Water Distribution License or Water Treatment Plant Operators License.
• Knowledge of the City's utility services and construction equipment.
• Understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions in construction.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and establish good working relations.
