About the position

The Servicenow Developer position at R Systems involves working under the ITSM Program Service Manager to handle complex aspects of the ServiceNow systems development cycle. This includes requirements analysis, system design, project planning, application development, and user training, all aimed at enhancing IT service management and operations management processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis and structured systems analysis for ServiceNow.
• Design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Perform feasibility analysis and project planning for ServiceNow projects.
• Configure systems and develop applications within the ServiceNow environment.
• Implement and test applications, ensuring conversion to production status.
• Create technical and procedural documentation for ServiceNow applications.
• Provide user training and post-implementation support for ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements

• ServiceNow Developer and Administration Certification (mandatory).
• Strong background in ServiceNow Platform/IT Service Management and IT Operations Management processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and scripted APIs.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP, WSDL, and JAXWS.
• Knowledge of technical components like LDAP, VPN, SSL, and SAML/SSO.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM core modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
