About the position

The Services Account Manager for Global OEM Partners at Vertiv Corporation is responsible for leading sales efforts related to services for Liquid Cooling and Power equipment sold to OEM Server Manufacturers. This role involves collaboration with various teams to drive sales growth and establish Vertiv as a leader in turnkey service solutions. The position focuses on enhancing relationships with key customers and promoting all available services related to the company's products.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies that align with customer requirements and Vertiv's capabilities.
• Work with Sales Management to establish annual sales expectations and exceed those expectations.
• Maintain timely and diligent efforts in Service Sales Pipeline for visibility to requirements.
• Collaborate with Offering and Marketing to create customer-facing materials outlining capabilities and benefits.
• Develop proposals, present to customers, and close on opportunities.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of technical sales experience, preferably in Liquid Cooling.
• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience with HVAC, mechanical contracting, or mechanical application engineering is a plus.
• Proven sales closing skills.
• Working knowledge of Data Center & Communication Industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with Vertiv products and services.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage and prioritize leads.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities for resolving contract and product issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
