About the position

The Services Support Representative is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service by processing payments, transfers, and inquiries related to various banking services. This position involves assisting customers with online banking, mobile apps, and text message banking, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. The representative will handle both inbound and outbound communications, including phone calls, web chats, and emails, while maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to bank policies.

Responsibilities

  • Process payments, transfers, stop payments, and product/account inquiries accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist customers with Online Banking questions, including sign-up and password reissues.
  • Support customers in downloading and navigating mobile apps and mobile web.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, web chat, and email, including Secure Message Center communications.
  • Keep management informed of customer issues to improve service and conversion rates.
  • Assist branch employees with inquiries regarding online channels.
  • Participate in testing new designs and navigation for online banking services.
  • Recognize sales opportunities and refer leads to Account Sales.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in online channels.
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to handle emotionally charged situations professionally.
  • Excellent computer, internet, smartphone, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
