About the position

The position involves providing strategic direction for all install sales programs within a designated district area, ensuring that sales, margin, close rate, and profitability goals are met. The role requires the recruitment, selection, and retention of Project Specialist Exteriors (PSE), as well as managing the performance and relationships of the service provider network. This includes direct interactions with service providers and indirect interactions through Service Support. Regular oversight of service quality issues is essential, which involves conducting site inspections, holding service provider meetings, and reviewing customer satisfaction metrics to ensure compliance with Lowe's quality standards. Additionally, the position supports Installed Sales performance by identifying training and talent gaps, developing action plans in collaboration with the Store Leadership team, and engaging in role-playing exercises with PSEs to enhance selling behaviors. Feedback is provided to Store Leadership with specific action plans aimed at improving performance. The role also entails obtaining and holding necessary licenses on behalf of Lowe's, driving compliance with all company policies and procedures related to permits, lead-safe processes, and regulatory requirements throughout the installation lifecycle. The installation project quote process is overseen for accuracy, ensuring it aligns with customer product selections, independent provider measurements, permit requirements, and environmental assessments. Furthermore, the execution by PSEs is reviewed for compliance with Lowe's policies, particularly concerning lead-safe practices and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction for all install sales programs within the assigned district area to achieve sales, margin, close rate, and profitability goals.
  • Recruit, select, and retain Project Specialist Exteriors (PSE).
  • Manage the relationship and performance of the service provider network through direct and indirect interactions.
  • Oversee service quality issues through regular site inspections, service provider meetings, and customer satisfaction metrics reviews.
  • Support Installed Sales performance by identifying training and talent gaps and developing action plans with the Store Leadership team.
  • Role play with PSEs on selling behaviors and provide feedback to Store Leadership with specific action plans to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit and retain talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with service providers and team members.
  • Ability to analyze customer satisfaction metrics and implement quality improvement measures.
  • Experience in training and developing sales teams to enhance performance.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to installation processes.
