The SET Project Manager will be based in our Danvers, Massachusetts office and will report directly to the Director of Project Management. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of proactive operations across various engineering business units. The primary focus will be on milestone-driven project management, with a significant emphasis on communication and client satisfaction. The position will involve a blend of engineering and project management responsibilities, with approximately 75% of the role dedicated to engineering tasks and 25% to project management activities. The SET Project Manager will work closely with multiple business units to ensure that projects are completed to the satisfaction of both clients and Network Coverage Management. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining project timelines using Microsoft Project, documenting project progress, and holding regular conference calls with client points of contact and user acceptance testing groups throughout the project lifecycle. The SET Project Manager will also collaborate with the Compliance team to track post-migration success, offer insights for process improvements, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for project reporting. Regular meetings with Network Coverage Management will be essential to review project statuses and identify resource allocation constraints. The role requires proactive project reviews to ensure effective resource utilization and open communication among SET resources. Additionally, the SET Project Manager will maintain the ConnectWise Project Board and assist the CIO and Director of Solutions Engineering in overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring technical soundness and resource efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure SET provides a consistent, positive service delivery experience with a sharp focus on client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain timelines in Microsoft Project.
  • Document projects and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Hold regular conference calls with client points of contact and UAT groups.
  • Work with the Compliance team to track post-migration/project success.
  • Offer insights and improvements to project-related processes and systems.
  • Establish, enforce, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Meet frequently with Network Coverage Management to review projects at a high level.
  • Identify resource allocation and utilization constraints.
  • Proactively review active projects to look ahead at project and resource allocation roadmaps.
  • Facilitate active and open communication between SET resources.
  • Enforce policy and procedure pertaining to SET activities.
  • Maintain ConnectWise Project Board and associated time entries.
  • Provide assistance and support to the CIO and Director of Solutions Engineering.
  • Assist in project oversight including technical lifecycle from conception to completion, focusing on scheduling, coordination, technical soundness, and resource efficiency.
  • Implement granular, milestone-driven scheduling and resource coordination mechanisms for project execution efficiency and forecasting.
  • Apply architectural and functional standards to each project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 years' experience in an information-technology related occupation.
  • 3 years' practical engineering experience.
  • 1 year of assistant project management experience.
