About the position

The Set-Up Mechanic position at Reynolds Consumer Products involves performing mold changes and supporting manufacturing processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production and offers opportunities for career growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mold changes, including disconnection, removal, and relocation of molds.
• Install, reconnect, and set up molds for production function.
• Support changeover time reduction efforts.
• Support and perform mold PM schedules as assigned.
• Periodically clean and inspect the molds.
• Outline repairs as needed and communicate with the mold shop(s).
• Assist in documentation and record history of specific molds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to work safely
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute to a team
• Previous technical experience with thermoforming processes and equipment
• Experience operating cranes and forklifts and handling heavy molds
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Demonstrated initiative on previous projects and assignments
