About the position

The SETA Systems Integrator position at SAIC involves a combination of programmatic and technical skills to support critical mission areas. The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to develop and implement process improvements for software and hardware development, ensuring effective communication and integration between operations and engineering teams. The role focuses on driving engineering rigor and programmatic excellence to deliver systems that meet objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers daily to understand project nuances and facilitate collaboration between operations and engineering organizations.
  • Assist in the migration to a common baseline and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Drive engineering, integration, and programmatic rigor to ensure systems meet objectives.
  • Identify and implement programmatic approaches to improve communication and execution of technical development and operations and maintenance efforts.
  • Review Statements of Work and advise on comprehensive requirements to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Monitor tasks, reduce backlogs, and assist in transitioning projects from waterfall to agile methodologies.
  • Author User Requirements Documents (URDs), Systems Requirements Documents (SROs), Requirements Verification Traceability Matrices (RVTMs), test plans, procedures, and project management plans.

Requirements

  • Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong systems engineering skills and technical acumen with software development projects, including familiarity with agile systems.
  • Ability to identify and implement programmatic approaches for technical development and operations and maintenance efforts.
  • Ability to recognize and advise on well-written and testable requirements.
  • Experience in reviewing Statements of Work for comprehensiveness and effectiveness.
  • Ability to monitor tasks and assist in project transitions from waterfall to agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge in telecommunication systems, network engineering, or cellular mobile core technologies.
