About the position
Play and Learn is looking for positive, energetic, and nurturing Childcare Teachers to join their team. The role involves working in a childcare setting, providing care and education to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. The position is full-time with a schedule from Monday to Friday, and the center operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. A center opener is preferred, and part-time applicants will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and educational care to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or childcare is required.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a nurturing attitude towards children.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a center opener is a plus.
- First aid and CPR certification.
