As a Sex Offender Treatment Provider at the Texas Civil Commitment Center (TCCC) in Littlefield, Texas, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals make lifelong changes. This position is backed by national accrediting organizations and is dedicated to improving the lives of those in our care through robust educational programming, clinical care, and mental health resources. You will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling specific to the Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP) in compliance with directives from Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and the Texas Civil Commitment Office (TCCO). Your work will involve maintaining core beliefs that people can change and have an inherent drive towards positive growth. You will employ the Good Lives Model (GLM) and Risk-Needs-Responsivity Model (RNR) as the theoretical basis for sex offender treatment. This includes completing Individual Treatment Plans that encompass goals and objectives, assessments, treatment progress, and accomplishments. You will conduct initial and ongoing assessments using approved tools such as STABLE, ACUTE, penile plethysmograph (PPG), psychological tests, and clinical interviews to define treatment goals and strategies for clients. Additionally, you will identify areas that require attention and outline measurable goals to help clients reduce deviant behavior and manage risk. Utilizing operant conditioning and behavior management techniques will be essential in your role, as you will identify target behaviors and apply appropriate reinforcers and interventions. This position is full-time and offers a starting salary of $70,000 per year, along with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and potential relocation assistance.
