About the position

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Email Developer to join our team, focusing on creating and deploying innovative, data-driven email campaigns for a diverse range of global clients. This role emphasizes collaboration within a geographically distributed team, aiming to enhance user engagement through personalized email solutions. The ideal candidate will challenge traditional methods and drive continuous improvement in email development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy responsive, data-driven, personalized emails that engage users.
• Consult on email best practices, including design, build, and deliverability.
• Migrate large-scale email campaigns to Salesforce Marketing Cloud from other platforms.
• Create complex, dynamic email solutions for enterprise clients, including translations and content matrices.
• Handcode HTML and CSS for email templates.
• Build emails using Content Builder and Advanced Interactive content blocks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email rendering, deliverability, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, Web Development, Marketing Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in consulting on email best practices.
• Experience in large scale email campaign migrations to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Proficiency in AMPscript for email personalization and dynamic content.
• Experience handcoding HTML and CSS for email development.
• Experience building emails in Content Builder and Advanced Interactive content blocks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Salesforce Distributed Marketing.
• Experience building complex and custom Preference Centers.
• Experience building emails in Salesforce Pardot.
• Experience with various ESPs such as Adobe and Braze.
