About the position

We are seeking a proficient SharePoint Administrator to contribute to one of our clients' projects for a one-year commitment. The ideal candidate should possess a wealth of experience in SharePoint administration, Power Automate, PowerShell scripting, ShareGate, SharePoint content management, collaboration and communication, security and permissions management, SharePoint development, and customization. Additionally, expertise in Microsoft 365 and cloud-based services is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Manage SharePoint site collections, sub-sites, lists, libraries, and content types.
  • Create and manage permissions, groups, and user roles within SharePoint.
  • Configure and manage document management settings including metadata, versioning, and retention policies.
  • Familiarize with SharePoint Central Administration and SharePoint Online Admin Center.
  • Optimize SharePoint Search configuration.
  • Develop and manage Power Automate flows and solutions.
  • Write, execute, and debug PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration tasks.
  • Utilize ShareGate for migrations, reporting, and bulk modifications.
  • Implement effective document management strategies such as retention policies and version control.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and end-users to troubleshoot issues and provide support.
  • Document configurations, processes, and custom scripts for knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and configure site collection security settings with SharePoint Security Groups and Active Directory Groups.
  • Customize SharePoint pages and workflows using SharePoint Designer and basic HTML/CSS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and development.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Automate, PowerShell scripting, and ShareGate.
  • Experience in managing SharePoint content, security, and permissions.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint development and customization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of PowerApps for creating custom forms and workflows (preferred but optional).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Designer 2013 and InfoPath 2013 to view legacy pages (preferred but not mandatory).
