About the position

The SharePoint and Database Project Manager at The Building People, LLC is responsible for providing technical expertise in database design and management, specifically tailored to support federal clients in their real estate projects. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of web applications and systems software, ensuring data integrity, security, and effective project management throughout various stages of construction and modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing SharePoint to assist with tracking, reporting, and logistical support for workflow and processes.
• Designing, creating, testing, and maintaining websites, interactive tools, and content; analyzing requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy customer needs.
• Managing or developing database projects and providing technical expertise in database management systems concepts.
• Preparing and editing technical material, including operations and maintenance manuals, software and system documentation, and other technical publications.
• Providing technical and analytical support to database development, data migration, and data validation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer architecture, computer science, information systems, engineering, or construction management from an accredited university, or a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Experience in SharePoint and database developing, testing, and implementing web applications and/or systems software for construction projects.
• Ability to convert documents into HTML or other complex programming languages (e.g., ASP, Java, C+, Net).
• Ability to pass a suitability background investigation and obtain a Top Secret clearance.

• Experience managing complex new construction or major renovation commercial/government building projects.
• Ability to work independently, in groups, and in a fast-paced environment.
