About the position

The SharePoint Developer/Administrator Onsite Lead will support the Academy for Defense Intelligence (ADI) by maintaining and developing SharePoint sites on the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) network and the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET). This role involves creating and managing SharePoint sites, developing custom workflows, providing end-user support, and ensuring effective communication through various SharePoint platforms. The position requires a strong background in SharePoint development and administration, along with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate with government agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and sustain existing SharePoint sites and create new client SharePoint sites and subsites.
  • Design, implement, and maintain complementary functionality for customer subsites, lists, libraries, and content.
  • Develop custom workflows using SharePoint Designer.
  • Manage master pages and reusable SharePoint components.
  • Provide advice, support, and training on permissions, site ownership, document management, forms, and workflows.
  • Code, test, and implement solutions for SharePoint.
  • Document analysis of problems and solutions used to resolve them.
  • Communicate the status of issues to users and management.
  • Provide end-user support primarily related to SharePoint.
  • Work with end users and development team to define, develop, and test solutions to resolve issues and requests.
  • Participate in the analysis to design enhancements or solve existing SharePoint issues.
  • Assist in designing technical approaches to deliver future capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.
  • 3-5+ years of SharePoint development experience.
  • Experience in SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019.
  • Experience with the MS Office 365 environment (Notepad/Teams/SharePoint, etc.).
  • Experience migrating existing SharePoint Site Collections to newer versions of SharePoint.
  • Hands-on experience using SharePoint Designer to maintain and develop complex custom workflows.
  • Experience implementing JavaScript, CAML queries, and REST services to enhance usability and performance.
  • Experience providing end-user support functions.
  • 5+ years of expert-level Business Analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead IT transformation efforts related to emerging technologies or new applications of existing solutions.
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and recommend development or acquisition strategies for new technology solutions.
  • Ability to assist in the development of strategic plans and concepts.
  • Provide guidance in the implementation of specialized information technologies, methodologies, and software tools.
  • Experience working in support of Government agencies and the Defense Intelligence Agency is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Tableau (or Power BI), Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience creating Quick Reference Guides, Job Aides, and other training material.
