About the position

The SharePoint Developer position at TENICA and Associates LLC requires an active TS/SCI clearance with FS polygraph. The role involves analyzing user needs and software requirements, coordinating programming activities, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and maintain software systems. The developer will also be responsible for designing and developing database management systems, tools for MS Windows, and ensuring the functionality of software applications through testing and validation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel.
  • Collaborate with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods.
  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure they produce the desired information.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities.
  • Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
  • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
  • Correct errors by making appropriate changes and recheck the program to ensure desired results are produced.
  • Design and develop database management systems, image processing, collaborative tools, and data visualization techniques.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Investigate whether networks, workstations, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors or improve performance.
  • Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation.
  • Provide database architectural and design capabilities.
  • Train subordinates in programming and program coding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in software development, specifically with SharePoint.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with FS polygraph.
