About the position

The SharePoint Developer with Python position at MSys Inc. is a long-term hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ. The developer will be responsible for creating and supporting applications on Microsoft SharePoint, with a focus on various versions including 2010, 2013, 2016, and O365. The role requires extensive experience in developing workflows, lists, forms, and custom site designs, as well as mentoring other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications on Microsoft SharePoint including versions 2010, 2013, 2016/O365.
• Configure new Microsoft SharePoint workflows.
• Utilize Microsoft SharePoint Designer for development tasks.
• Support and develop Microsoft SharePoint lists and forms.
• Migrate and upgrade Microsoft SharePoint instances.
• Develop and support Microsoft Access applications and database instances.
• Develop in and support Microsoft SQL Server database instances.
• Mentor and cross-train other staff members.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience developing applications and supporting Microsoft SharePoint.
• 7 years of experience developing and configuring new Microsoft SharePoint workflows.
• 7 years of experience using Microsoft SharePoint Designer.
• 7 years of experience supporting and developing Microsoft SharePoint lists and forms.
• 5 years of experience with web programming technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom SharePoint site design.
• 7 years of experience in migrating and upgrading Microsoft SharePoint instances.
• 5 years of experience supporting and developing Microsoft Access applications.
• 5 years of experience developing in and supporting Microsoft SQL Server database instances.
• 5 years of experience mentoring and cross-training other staff members.
