About the position

The State of Connecticut's Department of Administrative Services is seeking a SharePoint - Power BI Developer (Information Technology Analyst 2) to develop and support SharePoint, Power BI, O365, and Visual Studio applications. This role involves providing technical support, performing business analyst functions, and developing new applications and tools for data visualization and consumption within the Department of Transportation's Division of Technology Services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support SharePoint and Power BI applications.
• Provide technical support for existing applications and dashboards.
• Perform business analyst roles to evaluate business requirements.
• Design customized applications and tools for data consumption and visualization.
• Maintain existing applications and provide post-implementation support.
• Train users on new applications and tools.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in information technology operations, programming, or systems/software development.
• One year of professional IT work experience in installation and support of microcomputer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Experience in analysis, design, and development of information systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Office 365 applications.
• Experience provisioning and configuring SharePoint Lists.
• Experience integrating SharePoint functionality using Power Automate.
• Experience troubleshooting SharePoint issues.
• Experience building data models and dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience writing applications with Visual Studio or VS Code.
