ApplyLogic is seeking a dedicated SharePoint/Software Tester to join our team in Arlington, VA. This remote position plays a crucial role in supporting digital transformation and modernization programs for our government client. As a SharePoint/Software Tester, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, which includes defining, preparing, and executing test approaches, test cases, and test processes. You will work closely with Business Analysts to gather requirements, analyze project needs, plan effectively, and conduct thorough testing to ensure the highest quality of deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test procedures that verify functional requirements, as well as creating traceability matrices that link functional requirements to test cases. You will also perform requirements analysis and execute and debug test cases to ensure that the software meets the specified requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively with both the requirements team and the development team will be essential in understanding the intended functionality and ensuring that the system is tested comprehensively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional web testing, particularly with SharePoint On-Prem/Online, and will be adept at performing role-based security testing on SharePoint-based solutions. Experience with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Test Manager, as well as test automation, is also required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially SCRUM, will be beneficial as you work under tight deadlines to meet application deployments during each sprint. We are looking for a self-starter who is organized and capable of grasping new concepts and applications quickly, ensuring that our testing processes are efficient and effective.
