About the position
The SharePoint Web Designer will be responsible for creating and customizing visually appealing and functional SharePoint websites. This role focuses on designing user-friendly interfaces that align with business objectives, ensuring an intuitive user experience through the use of SharePoint Designer and other web design tools.
Responsibilities
- Design SharePoint page layouts with a focus on user experience, navigation flow, and functionality.
- Integrate company branding elements (logos, color schemes, fonts) into SharePoint sites.
- Develop and configure custom web parts to enhance functionality and display data.
- Implement SharePoint workflows to automate business processes.
- Structure content libraries and manage site content for organization and accessibility.
- Create user-friendly forms, lists, and views tailored to specific user needs.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective designs.
- Test and ensure functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness of designs across devices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SharePoint Designer to manipulate page layouts and customize site features.
- Strong web design knowledge, including color theory, typography, and layout.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS to fine-tune the visual appearance of SharePoint pages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
