About the position

The Shared Living Home Care Provider role involves providing a safe and comfortable living environment for adults with developmental disabilities in the provider's own home. This position allows individuals to earn a stipend while supporting clients in their daily lives, fostering independence, and engaging in community activities. The role includes training and ongoing support from LifeConnections, ensuring providers are equipped to meet the needs of their clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and comfortable home for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Support clients in their daily living activities and personal care.
• Encourage independence and assist with medication management.
• Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for clients.
• Maintain open communication with clients and their support teams.

Requirements

• Experience with people with developmental disabilities is desired.
• Must possess a valid New Hampshire driver's license.
• Home and auto insurance is required.
• Must pass Criminal and Driving record checks, as well as BEA registry check.
• Completion of a Safe Home Inspection is necessary.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in culinary arts or baking is a plus.
• Knowledge of auto mechanics is beneficial.
