About the position

Sharon High School is looking for a full-time building substitute for the 2024-2025 school year. The role involves providing instruction and managing the learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring that students continue to receive quality education and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and manage the learning environment in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Assist in the coordination of other substitute teachers at Sharon High School.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
