About the position

The Digital Marketing Director at Shaw Contract is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic digital marketing plan that aligns with the company's global business objectives. This role requires an innovative marketing leader who can leverage digital tools to drive growth while managing a team and collaborating with various departments. The position focuses on enhancing user experience through effective digital product launches and marketing campaigns, ensuring that all initiatives meet client expectations and support the company's mission of sustainability and customer focus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the digital strategy and implementation.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the digital, content, communication, and social media team members.
  • Provide thought-leadership on products and experience; promote best practices and new ideas.
  • Understand and anticipate market requirements and work with internal teams and external vendors to develop business analysis and solutions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all commercial division business units and their customers to drive solutions.
  • Develop roll-out, training, and implementation plans for new products and features.
  • Utilize effective project management when launching new digital products, features, and tools.
  • Run data-driven experiments and analysis as well as quality testing to optimize products and inform strategy.
  • Provide leadership to the team through effective management, coaching, mentoring, and career planning.
  • Ensure the end product is relevant, brand compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to commercial brand leaders and drive projects to completion.
  • Synthesize and analyze data from various sources to inform digital strategy and benchmark performance.
  • Implement search engine optimization best practices on all customer-facing websites.
  • Develop sound business cases for major digital projects.
  • Lead and participate in corporate digital initiatives and establish relationships across the organization.
  • Manage capital and expense funds associated with digital strategy, design, and development.
  • Leverage knowledge of demand generation to develop, implement, and optimize advertising strategies.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Digital experience including website and content strategy, management, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools such as Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, Full Story, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years leading a high-performing team.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand complex company strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to develop and implement alternate solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the flooring or surface solutions industry.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and data interpretation.
