About the position

The Hospitality Account Manager at Shaw Contract is responsible for driving sales and managing relationships within the hospitality sector in Greater Philadelphia. This role involves daily sales calls, presenting products to various stakeholders, and developing new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts. The position requires strategic account management, leadership, and a deep understanding of the commercial interiors industry, particularly in hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily sales calls on existing customers in Greater Philadelphia.
  • Present products to architects, designers, end-users, and other stakeholders.
  • Prospect for viable new accounts and develop awareness of market trends in Greater Philadelphia.
  • Manage strategic account sales and provide leadership in hospitality selling and marketing activities.
  • Establish and expand relationships with Global Accounts in the Hospitality segment.
  • Track and communicate end-user involvement and sales targets.
  • Achieve budgeted sales revenue for Global Accounts.
  • Research and profile targets in the Hospitality segment.
  • Expand the base of national and regional Hospitality accounts, focusing on hotel brands and developers.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing and segment directors to support account needs.
  • Utilize sales organization effectively as multipliers for sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in the commercial interiors industry, preferably in hospitality.
  • Experience working with architects, designers, purchasing agents, and end-users.
  • Ability to manage multiple project details in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic account selling experience with a proven sales performance growth history.
  • Strong leadership and lateral influence skills.
  • High school diploma/GED or Bachelor's degree required.
  • Living in Greater Philadelphia.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in business development within the hospitality segment.
  • Familiarity with salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
