Earl May Garden Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscape Installer to join our team in Shawnee, Kansas. This part-time position involves providing landscape installation and maintenance services to both residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and take ownership of their work, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. As a Landscape Installer, you will be responsible for executing various landscaping projects, which may include planting, mulching, and maintaining garden areas. You will also be expected to collaborate with the retail teams at our Shawnee garden center to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. In this role, you will need to prioritize projects and tasks effectively to meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons. The ability to work independently is crucial, as you will often be managing your own workload. Customer service experience is essential, as you will interact with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide solutions. A clean driving record is required, as you may need to transport materials and equipment to job sites. Physical stamina is important, as the job involves lifting up to 50 lbs and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions. While previous experience in management, outside sales, or landscape design is a plus, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
