About The Position

We are seeking a skilled sheet metal fabricator to join our team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various duct systems and HVAC equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints. This role requires a willingness to drive to various job sites within 60 minutes of Wilkes-Barre and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and duct work installation.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in commercial construction.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Driver's License.
• Reliable Transportation.
• OSHA-10/30 certification (OSHA-10 is a must).
• Lift Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install various duct systems including HVAC constant volume, HVAC variable air volume, grease duct, dust collection, vapor exhaust, general exhaust, and flues.
• Install duct joints such as slip and drive, TDC, ductmate, welded, and flanged.
• Install HVAC equipment including air handling units, roof-top units, VAV boxes, split systems AC units, terminal units, fans, commercial kitchen hoods, and make-up air units.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Layout jobs and hangers.
• Work independently and in a team.
