Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning and disinfecting rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Assist with food service duties, including the distribution of food and beverages within the shelter.
• Welcome and assist clients and visitors, providing routine information and directing them as needed.
• Enter client information into the Client Tracking System upon their entry into the shelter.
• Inventory cleaning supplies and food provided to residents.
• Respond to safety concerns to ensure proper conduct within the facility.
• Drive County-owned vehicles to transport residents to and from shelter facilities as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of county vehicles and assist with trash removal.
• Wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
• Promote a diverse and respectful workplace.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License for the class of vehicle to be driven.
