As a Sheriff's Licensing Clerk I, you will be responsible for conducting face-to-face interviews with applicants and law enforcement personnel to assess eligibility for regulatory business licenses and permits. This role involves performing background checks, which include photographing, fingerprinting, and conducting DNA mouth swabs on applicants. The position requires extensive public interaction and the ability to interpret and apply various legal codes while handling sensitive information.
