About The Position

This position is responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management, ensuring all operational tasks are completed efficiently. The role includes cash handling, customer service, inventory management, and compliance with company policies. The individual will engage with customers to provide a positive experience and assist in training team members.

Requirements

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
• Hold store keys and manage store operations without management as necessary.
• Assist with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for deliveries.
• Register all sales on assigned cash register and manage related transactions.
• Assist in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics with management.
• Evaluate and develop displays for promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure compliance with pricing regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities as necessary.
• Ensure the store is clean and orderly, requesting repairs as needed.
• Assist with food item separation and stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
