About the position
The Shift Lead at DoorDash's DashMart is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of 2-10 employees. This role involves ensuring high-quality customer service, managing tasks, and promoting a positive work atmosphere while actively participating in operational duties.
Responsibilities
- Lead Operations Associates through their shift, ensuring productivity and safety.
- Provide real-time feedback to Operations Associates about performance.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks including receiving products, preparing customer orders, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Ensure smooth delivery of customer orders by managing menus and communication with customers.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and manage cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Contribute ideas to improve operational quality and customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in a warehouse, retail, or restaurant environment.
- Ability to be on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs, with capability to operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Flexibility in schedule to work any day of the week.
