About the position

The Shift Lead at Taco Bell is responsible for supporting management by running shifts effectively and leading teams independently. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide guidance to team members while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and maintain a polite demeanor.
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers and guests.
• Ensure every guest receives great service and food while working with urgency.
• Cooperate well with management and team members, assisting others as needed.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Ensure team members present a neat appearance and wear the company uniform correctly.
• Oversee team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Lead the team as Manager in Charge, ensuring compliance with service and food safety standards.
• Participate in the training and development of team members.
• Assist with Profit and Loss management and follow cash control procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• One year of restaurant experience required with proven lead experience on all shifts.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Basic math and reading skills are necessary.
• Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam.
