As a Shift Lead at Taco Bell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team by running effective shifts and leading your team to success. In addition to managing daily operations, you will actively participate in the training and development of team members, helping them grow in their roles. You will assist with profit and loss management, adhere to cash control procedures, and manage inventory and labor effectively. Your ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members will be vital in resolving customer complaints and maintaining positive relationships. Responsibilities

  • Greet everyone with a smile and maintain a polite and pleasant demeanor with guests and team members.
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers and guests.
  • Ensure every guest receives great service and food while working with a sense of urgency.
  • Cooperate well with other management and team members, helping others when needed and taking initiative.
  • Act as a role model for customer service, resolving complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
  • Ensure all team members present a neat and clean appearance and wear the company uniform correctly.
  • Oversee that all team members complete their assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead the team as Manager in Charge, ensuring compliance with company standards regarding service, food safety, and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing constructive and complimentary feedback to team members.
  • Participate in the training and development of team members.
  • Assist with profit and loss management, cash control procedures, inventory management, and labor management.
  • Provide regular feedback to the RGM and other management on team performance.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • One year of restaurant experience required with proven lead experience on all shifts.
  • Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
  • Basic math and reading skills are necessary.
  • Ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam.
