About the position
The Shift Leader at Tacodeli plays a crucial role in the restaurant operations team, directly reporting to the General Manager. This position focuses on enhancing restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive team culture. The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing shifts, coaching team members, and ensuring that customers receive exceptional hospitality in a scratch kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Continuously develop and train Team Members through daily coaching.
- Coach and develop Team Members in a positive way.
- Ensure that all Team Members provide excellent hospitality.
- Help cover shifts as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between FOH and Kitchen team through partnership with Kitchen Manager/Culinary Lead.
- Lead by example in product quality, consistency of execution, speed of service, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.
- Utilize and maintain operational documents when needed for FOH and BOH.
- Responsible for proper sanitation standards, correcting bad practices and rewarding good behaviors.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
- Driver's License.
