About the position
The Shift Leader at Church's Chicken serves as a restaurant leader responsible for coaching, training, and developing Team Members to ensure an outstanding customer experience. This role involves monitoring compliance with company policies, ensuring quality service and food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a restaurant leader and provide coaching, training, and development to Team Members.
- Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
- Ensure all menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
- Assist Team Members in preparing quality products and maintaining a clean restaurant.
- Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
- Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Complete Weekly Sales Reports, Bank deposit slips, and other required forms.
- Ensure accuracy of paperwork and enter inventory and payroll into the POS system.
- Adhere to established cash handling and security procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is highly recommended.
- ServSafe® food safety training is highly recommended.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and have access to an automotive vehicle during shifts.
