About the position
The Shift Leader at Einstein Bros. Bagels plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience and maintaining store operations. This position involves collaborating with the General Manager to motivate the team, providing feedback, and coaching team members. Shift Leaders are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team.
- Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
- Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
- Ensure the quality of food and beverages served.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours and weekends.
- Ability to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
- Possession of or ability to acquire a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
- Possession of a current, valid state-issued driver's license.
