About the position

The Shift Leader at Wingstop is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager. This role focuses on maximizing sales and profits while minimizing costs by effectively directing and supervising shift activities. The Shift Leader ensures that guests receive exceptional service and that the team operates efficiently and cohesively.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality product and guest service experience that ensures total guest satisfaction.
• Establish an environment of trust with open and direct communication.
• Plan, organize, and implement daily operational routines and activities.
• Complete all required administrative duties and daily paperwork.
• Supervise and perform closing and/or opening duties as directed by the Management Team.
• Support the goals and directives of the Restaurant Management.
• Follow all POS and cash handling procedures.
• Resolve guest questions, complaints, and problems efficiently with management involvement.
• Delegate shift responsibilities to employees and ensure task completion.
• Set high goals for team members and drive results.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs comfortably.
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, and stoop.
• Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Vision abilities to include distance, close, color, depth, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to operate a computer and/or cash register.
• Must be able to work around heat and in close quarters with others.
• Willing to cross-train on various positions within the restaurant.
