About the position

The Shift Leader at Scooter's Coffee is responsible for directing efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager with various operational duties. This role serves as a team leader in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring a consistent and quality customer experience while embodying the company's core values of integrity, love, humility, and courage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques.
• Resolve customer relations issues and lead the team in delivering the Scooter's 'Amazing' customer service experience.
• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by managing an efficient team workflow.
• Anticipate customer needs and utilize downtime to prepare for the next rush.
• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members.
• Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors.
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales.
• Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures accurately.
• Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures.
• Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability.
• Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested.
